With its perfect location overlooking the white sands of Nyali Beach, its three pools, bountiful watersports, and an endless array of exciting family activities, it’s no surprise that Voyager Beach Resort was recently rated one of Kuoni’s top 20 beach destinations worldwide.

With a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the big game of Tsavo on our doorstep, and a unique historical journey among the legendary battlefields on the Tanzanian border, Voyager Ziwani offers one of Kenya’s most exotic and fascinating wilderness retreats.

Standards of accommodation in Kenya's coastal capital have risen to lofty new heights, with the long-awaited opening of Voyager Beach Resort's luxurious 'Deck A'. A sweeping T-shaped building overlooking the beach, the new deck offers 68 spacious Superior Cabins, each measuring nearly 30 square metres with an additional 10-square-metre balcony. The deck also features two extravagant suites, with a whopping 50-square-metre open-plan room, and 16 family cabins with interconnecting doors.

All the new cabins offer the highest levels of coastal comfort, with two giant king-size beds, split-unit air-conditioning, spacious bathrooms, mini-fridges, and luxurious baraza furniture. The huge balconies and ground-floor terraces look over the sea or the resort's beautiful tropical gardens, with mosquito netting on the doors to keep the cabins cool without attracting unwanted visitors. And like the rest of the ship, all the cabins sport stylish nautical designs, with a giant painted wave washing across the walls, mirrors fashioned like old portholes, and spliced ropes wrapped around the balconies.

The Business Cabins offer everything a visiting professional could wish for, including a large working desk, direct phone and modem connections, multi-channel satellite TV, and personal tea-making facilities. In addition to its modern Internet café, a private meeting room and efficient secretarial services, Voyager is now developing a comprehensive range of business services including express check-in and a proper 'business room service'. The new cabins also provide a boon for local executives, who can bring their families along on trips to Mombasa - and give them an exciting beach holiday while they pursue their business.
